Nothing majestic will happen to me in the coming month. Still going to be busy with school, lots of activities, projects and our dreaded Midterm exam. So wish me luck! ;>
ReplyDeleteMy son and d-i-l are having a baby in September! :) After she goes back to work I will be babysitting full time except for when my daughter helps out.
ReplyDeleteI am retired, and watch my granddaughter for her single mother. Summertime means that I have her all day long. When she was younger we used to do so many fun things together. But she is now a preteen who is firmly attached to her laptop, cell phone, and iPod. So, I am looking forward to some alone time to enjoy my retirement! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWe have our big trip coming up in the fall (which will bring us to Hawaii and hopefully to see you Kim!). The trip has been planned for well over a year now, so we are excited that it finally in our sights. :)
ReplyDeleteI plan to go back on the road with my husband and we've also got a short trip (3 nights) planned for San Antonio right after Thanksgiving. Have really wanted to go when the River Walk is all decked out for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteGoing on a small trip in Sept.... Happy about that. :)
ReplyDeleteJust sending my youngest off to high school! Looking forward to some crisp autumn weather, but you can relate in Hawaii--we're lucky to get it in December here in South Carolina!
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring Dukes to the Left of Me, Princes to the Right. I love how you dressed up the pictures in beautiful Hawaiian style, and I especially love that I have kitty statues near my book. I adore cats!!!
XOXO to you and all your readers!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Kim!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win a copy of Michelle Marcos's book Lessons in Loving a Laird because she named one of the characters after me - my maiden name was Jeanne Hastings Ryon. I still haven't had a chance to buy it and none of my family believes me when I tell them! (Yes, Ryon is spelled with an "O"!). My father always told me we were Irish and thrown out of the country and that's how we ended up in Scotland (the family emigrated to the US from Glascow) but I think we're actually from the English line of the Ryon family tree. Someday I'll I hope to have the time (and money) to search Ancestry.com!
Nothing planned

ReplyDeleteI look forward to winter here, as we then get a lot cooler weather. I literally hate the hot and humid summers here in southern Florida.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to fal becuase we have a big family reunion of my hubby's side at Lake Tahoe, where we have never been! One of the few good things about summer ending. Plus, once it gets cold, I won't feel so quilty about reading alot, cuz who wants to be out when it below zero!

Having back surgery Monday so no plans for later except getting my mojo back. lol I do hope I will be able to get in yard for fall planting, pruning and putting pine straw down.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a great summer without days of 100+ heat. Even getting a little rain 2 or 3 times a week has been great for our water level, grass and plants. I have been reading alot and while recouperating will get even more reading in.

ReplyDeleteMy son will be getting married November 10th. I just watched my daughter graduate from college in May, then two weeks later watched her walk a different isle.... her wedding.
