Today I welcome Kensington Books to Hawaii!
Ho`ola`i na manu I ke aheahe.
The birds poise quietly in the gentle breeze.
Said of those who are at peace with the world,
undisturbed and contented.
Pili kau, pili ho'oilo.
Together in the dry season,
together in the wet season.
Said of loving companionship.
Ua ola loko i ke Aloha.
Love gives life within.
Do you have a lucky charm? One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash. This giveaway is open to all readers. Comments are open through Saturday, August 18, 10 pm in Hawaii. I'll post the winner on Sunday, August 19.
Mahalo,
Kim in Hawaii
I don't have a lucky charm, but sometimes I wish that I did. Nothing ever seems to go right for me.
ReplyDeleteI love Kensington Books, they have so many exciting Historical Romance novels.
I have a Cross, given to me by my sister, that hangs from my rear view missor in my car.
ReplyDeleteI do have some rocks that are in my purse that are lucky - maybe.
ReplyDeletemy lucky charm is only doing and praying :)
ReplyDeleteA prayer booklet that my mom gave to all of us her children. :D
ReplyDeleteI have a few purse charms that my friend made. They are attached to my purse...a beach theme and a stars/moon theme. I don't know if they are lucky, but I do like them.
ReplyDeleteNo lucky charms for me. 'If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!'
ReplyDeleteNot really for me. I think I have to make my own luck!
ReplyDeleteNo lucky charm for me. I certainly could use one though!
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm afraid no lucky charms - not even the ceral lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any specific one, but sometimes my aunt or my grandmother might give me something and says it will keep me safe.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any lucky charms. I wish I did! lol
ReplyDeleteI don't have any specific lucky charm any more. I used to have a 4 leaf clover that I found when I was a teen, but at some point in life I lost it. Maybe it wasn't lucky, lol

I don't have a lucky charm either!!! :(
ReplyDeleteI don't have a lucky charm. I just try. If I win then great, if not then someone else deserved or tried harder than I. Great books. Love Victoria Alexander and want those books. Already have Rebecca's books. The other author is new to me. Thanks for the great giveaway.

Nope, don't really have a lucky charm.
ReplyDeleteI carry several lucky charms with me. I have a Irish marble worry stone and an Irish 50 pence coin (plus an English one pound coin that I found in the parking lot of the Cliffs of Mohr).
ReplyDeleteNo lucky charm but wish I did. I just hope, believe and pray all goes well.
