Some of my most favorite books are part of a series. I ove re-visiting characters from book to book and learning more about them and where they live.
ReplyDeleteI like both but I'm more partial to series because I like to catch up with with past characters.
ReplyDeleteI like both but I think some series keep going far longer than they should.
ReplyDeletei dont mind, everything is okay as long as i enjoy reading the book :)
ReplyDeleteLove series! I really enjoy getting involved in the characters and seeing where their lives are going in future books.
ReplyDeleteI quite like a series over stand alone books as it’s nice to meet and follow characters from one book to another. I also think this heightens the excitement in waiting for the next book to be released.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy both--series and stand-alones. Most of the romance books I read are series books.
ReplyDeleteI really love both. I enjoy series, but sometimes find it difficult to keep up and also hate the wait between books!
ReplyDeleteI love both, but prefer series. I love being able to follow along with the characters and see them grown and follow along with their lives and loves. Many great authors and series in the pictures above. Love Vicki Dreiling and Eileen Dreyer. Thanks for the giveaway.

I like series in general. It makes the books more enjoyable when you see familiar characters!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Too many books! I love both but series has a little advantage since I like to know what happened to those couples who already had their happy ever after. :D
ReplyDeleteI prefer stand alone books because I don't have the patience to wait for the next book in the series to come out. Sometimes I'll wait when all the books will come out & read the entire series.
ReplyDeleteI prefer stand alone but don't mind trilogies. I like to read in order and sometimes I don't have all the books or can't find them or have to wait too long. I really hate it when I don't know how many books will be written ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteI like both,
ReplyDeleteI like them both. For years I really only read stand alone books, but now I'm much more prone to read both stand alones and series books.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy both, but probably like series a little more because we get to revisit with past characters.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy both. I also prefer that the series doesn't last too long.
ReplyDeleteI prefer series because you get to learn more about the setting, the characters, etc and you get to have updates or even cameo appearances from previous characters. You can also (hopefully) learn more about a loved secondary character when they get their HEA/HFN ending.
ReplyDeleteI like both to read, great books whoo

To be honest, like most others here, I like to read both series books and stand alone books. There are series that I absolutely love and would continue to read and follow - love following same recurring characters! Then there are also times where I feel like reading stand alone books for something new and refreshing.
ReplyDeleteI like series because we get to know the chracters and secondary characters better in a series.
ReplyDeleteI like both.
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling at your stash! I Like series and connected characters, but I hate the true trilogy where there are cliffhangers and unfinished business at the end of the 1st and 2nd books.
ReplyDeleteWow what a great selection of books you have posted.
ReplyDeleteI love both but I love a good series so I can follow the growth of the characters. A family series is great for growth. Also love series about specific people (firefighters, FBI/CIA, Special Ops, Military)as I also like action, mystery, suspense.

Both. It's hard for me to say one over the other. I do enjoy getting to know the secondary characters better though.
