Jane Austen visits Bellows Recreation Center and Boutiki Gift Shop

Jane helped me with a few projects last week ...

First we drove over to Bellows AFB to restock
the lending library.  It offers free books to
military families visiting the recreation area.

Jane spotted a few Hawaiiana books in the gift shop...

... plus a Hula doll!

The staff warmly received Jane!

Next stop - Boutiki Gift Shop on Pearl Harbor.
Its profits are donated to charity.

Woundn't Mrs. Bennet like these dishes?
Jane hasn't featured a Marine hero yet!

Jane adopted the mantra, "Live Aloha!"
Jane is off to bath!

Let's help Jane name the salt/pepper shakers below ... who is your favorite romance couple?  One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash.  This giveaway is open to all readers.  Comments are open through Saturday, May 19, 10 pm in Hawaii.  I'll post the winners on Sunday, May 20.

Kim in Hawaii

  1. Eve and Roarke (Robb), Eve and Quinn (Johansen) (maybe I just like the name Eve, lol). Miss Austen is certainly a well-traveled young miss!

  2. I loved the post thank you Kim, the hula doll is just too cute ! Names for the salt and pepper shakers will have to be the names of the two characters from my favourite book by Melanie Milburne, Willingly Bedded Forcibbly Wedded : Pepper being JASPER and Salt being Hayley!

  3. I really like Nick and Nora Charles.

  4. I am going to say Cassandra and Dominic from Kathryne Kennedy's "The Fire Lord's Lover."

  5. Aw, those are too cute. I think they'd make great gifts. I may have to swing by the store and pick up a few of those shaker sets for family.

  6. How about George and Gracie.

  7. Any lorinfostervbooks, whoo

  8. Anthony Maroly and Rosalike from tender rebel :)

  9. My first 2 choices Eve and Roarke and Nick and Nora Charles have been taken so I'll go with Jamie and Claire from Outlander. :)
