Kim - I was so bummed I wasn't able to make RT this year - but I've really enjoyed living it vicariously through all the photos, etc. There are some really amazing people here. I really had wanted to meet Lindsay McKenna, as she has been such a great support for everyone. I have a special place in my heart for Lynne Connolly - she reviewed some pages in my manuscript a few years ago, was completely spot-on in her critique and just a doll about encouraging me to go farther. Courtney Milan I met in Berlin last year - what amazing insight she has into the industry and trends. Ella Quinn is supportive of everyone - helping to spread the word about new books coming out and new blogs out. I can go on and on about these wonderful authors. But, you - you, my girl - are amazing!! You do SOOO MUCH for everyone...and I don't know how you do everything at these conventions. Do you sleep? Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, great pictures. I always wanted to meet Olivia Gates. She writes amazing romance.
ReplyDeleteJust love putting names and faces together - thank you!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I shared.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all the author's photos. A giant book fair sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I was there!
ReplyDeleteDang it! I wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice convention! I do agree with Megan Mulry right there that a grown up sleepover is definitely a book convention. Hahaha! I can’t believe those lovely women are part of our veterans. It's really nice to see them in such a relaxed state after volunteering themselves to be part of our country’s security force. :D
