Winnie is the winner from last week's blogs! During Labor Day Weekend, my family visited Kauai. Hanalei Bay is the jewel of Kauai's North Shore. Above is a view from an overlook just as the road descends into the valley.
... notice the cottages overlooking the bay.
The cottages are featured in George Clooney's THE DESCENDANTS.
No doubt George sailed ...
... and paddle boarded!
Mahalo,
Kim in Hawaii

no, because i can't swim :(
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I loved to snorkle. I also did a bit of scuba diving. It didn't seem right to live in South Florida and not be able to see the beautiful coral reefs and marine life out there.
ReplyDeleteThe only water sport I've done is swimming and I like that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really into water sports.
ReplyDeleteSwimming, diving and synchronized swimming. The problem is, I don't do any of them, I just like watching them on t.v.
ReplyDeleteI love white water rafting. It is great!
ReplyDeleteI love to float...that's it. I'm not a water baby.
ReplyDeleteI love white water rafting, and I like to kayak, and I love to snorkel and swim.
ReplyDeleteYay, thanks Kim! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for water sports, I like to do dragon boat paddling! Would also love to try paddle boarding sometime as it looks very interesting.
We don't live near the water so I never really learned - I can't even tread water (sigh).
ReplyDeleteNot really.
ReplyDeleteNot into water sports. My friend with the pool where we've been doing water aerobics is moving, so I won't even be doing that anymore.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know how to swim! I can float a little and that's it. So no water sports for me.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Winnie!
ReplyDeleteI never learned how to swim and so I don't do water sports.
Congratulations, Winnie! :)
ReplyDeleteI used to water ski when I was younger but it's been awhile since I've done that.
