Saturday's FAN-tastic Day turned into craft day courtesy of Eloisa James:
Shana Galen and Elizabeth Essex came dressed in fascinators! Eloisa made several fascinators as examples ...
A white bird with purple flowers ...
A yellow bird with red flowers ...
Two birds with swirls ...
Blue feathers with ribbons ...
A reader posed for me in the lobby ...
Two readers posed in the elevator. What materials would you use to make your fascinator? One randomly selected commenter from my RT posts wins a book choice from my convention stash. Comments are open through Sunday, May 31. I'll post the winner on Monday, June 1, at SOS Aloha.

I would start with feathers and a bi. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteFeathers, beads, and a big flower :)
ReplyDeleteI made a fascinator for my granddaughter in the class. I quite frankly didn't think I could do it, but my table was very helpful. Shared.
ReplyDeleteI would probably stick to silk flowers & netting, maybe in blue, purple & white. The birds & feathers kind of creep me out!
ReplyDeleteI'd probably go for some feathers and flowers, and maybe something sparkly.
ReplyDeleteFlowers, ribbon, feathers, maybe a bit of glitter stuff.

Flowers, ribbons, netting, and glitter
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun! Oh, probably a little bit of everything lol.
ReplyDeleteThat looked like so much fun, making fascinators with Eloisa James and her guest authors! I'd make mine with the flowers, ribbons and netting.
ReplyDeleteAlthough that looks like great fun, I am not crazy about wearing things on my head, so I'd leave it for the other folks to make and wear!
ReplyDeleteFeathers and tule. I'm so bummed I couldn't make it this year! 😢
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have a fastener.
