We have a winner from last week's blogs - Linda! I walked as far east as the Queen Kapiolani Park, giving me a view of the resorts towering over Waikiki Beach ...
... and the historic Royal Hawaiian Hotel!
I love watching the water interact with man's attempt to keep it out!
Another view of the breakwater ....
... and Diamond Head! Would you rather stay in a historic hotel or modern resort? One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash. This giveaway is open to all readers. Comments are open through Saturday, November 10, 10 pm in Hawaii. I'll post the winner on Sunday, November 11.

Both. It would be great to try both of their amenities. I'd like to see for myself the beauty of both resorts. :D
ReplyDeleteI would go with historical all the way.

ReplyDeleteModern Resort definitely.... I need my modern conveniences...
ReplyDeleteI would like to stay at a modern resort.
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with the modern. I want to be spoiled when on vacation lol.
ReplyDeleteI think I would choose a modern resort.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteI would rather stay in a historic hotel.
That's a hard question to answer. I think it would depend if the historical hotel had running water..lol
ReplyDeleteCongrats Linda!
ReplyDeleteAs for what I would rather stay in, I think I would choose the modern resort, though I would love to visit a historic hotel :)
I think a modern resort. I still have vivid memories of the cockroaches in our hotel that was several blocks away from Waikiki and I like my internet far too much!
ReplyDeleteModern resort, great pics

I've stayed in some historical places and enjoyed what they offered but do really prefer the modern conveniences!
