We have a winner from last week's blogs - Mary! Jane continues her tour of Oahu, returning to Bellows Beach!
Above are the Mokulua Islands. |
Bellows offers cabins for military families. Hale is "house" and Makai is "towards sea" so this VIP cabin is by the sea! |
The beach is virtually empty on school days. |
Jane sits in the shade to watch the sailboats! |
Who could be on the sailboat? |
Marianne Dashwood? Lydia Bennet? |
It's Ann Elliot and Captain Wentworth! |
We took the coast road home, stopping at the Halona Lookout .... |
... famous for its beach scene in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY.
The rugged coast is inspiring ... |
... and powerful! |
Do you have a favorite water activity - swimming? scuba? sailing? watching the waves crash onto the beach? One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash. This giveaway is open to all readers. Comments are open through Saturday, June 9, 10 pm in Hawaii. I'll post the winner on Sunday, June 10.

I am not much of a water girl so my water activity is not really a activity , I love to sit and listen to water it has a calming effect on the world and if I have a good book in my hands while doing so even better !
ReplyDeleteThe one thing I do love is just looking at small waterfalls. Especially when it's cool during that day and the water runs into a little stream that you can sit by and stick your feet into.

Loved to swim until my Hawaii visit, when handed a spear--for the sting rays and sharks and eels. Paradise had only the Snake.
