Cowboy meets Victorian on Thursday, May 14, at the Wild, Wild West Steampunk Party:

Start decorating your cowboy hats with gizmo's and gadgets, shine up your goggles, and start shopping for your corsets and western-style skirts. And anything goes for the gentlemen who no doubt will be donning a cool steampunk weapon and ready to capture hearts.

The possibilities are endless for this Steampunk-themed costume party that is sure to wow and entertain all who attend!

Queen Kapiolani, seated third from left, and Princess Liliuokalani, seated third from right, are photographed in an English garden. They traveled to London in 1887 for Queen Victoria's golden jubilee.

I am cooking up a unique costume .... Hawaiian Royalty enjoyed a close friendship with Queen Victoria ... so expect a touch of Paradise!

What would you wear to the Wild Wild West Steampunk party?  One randomly selected commenter from this week's posts wins a book choice from my convention stash.  Comments are open through Saturday, April 18, 10 pm in Baltimore.  I'll post the winner on Sunday, April 19 on my book blog at SOS Aloha.

  3. I would have gadgets everywhere. The buttons on the shirt would be a gadget and my boot heel would contain some. The possibilities are limitless.

  4. a dress with a bustle - and maybe I could rig up some cool gadgets like a derringer on a arm holster.
