Aloha to NJRW Conference (part 3) - Let them eat cake ...and read books!

Let them eat cake!  The NJRW conference continued with a delicious luncheon featuring my favorite food group - chocolate!

I had to loosen my belt so I could waddle around the book signing to see Elizabeth Hoyt and Sara Humphreys.

I chatted with Kathleen Long and Sally MacKenzie.  Sally recently returned for a "research" trip to England, including a visit to Devon - my ancestors' stomping grounds.

Stephanie Draven and Vicky Dreiling were all smiles for the camera ...

... so were Risky Regency writers Diane Gaston and Elena Greene; they contribute to the Risky Regencies Romance Blog (link).

Here are the RomVets - Christyne Butler, me, Diana Cosby, Cathy Maxwell, and Ella Quinn.

I am giving away two conference bags filled with fun swag plus:

Diana Cosby's HIS CAPTIVE
Diana Cosby's HIS WOMAN
Margaret Mallory's KNIGHT OF DESIRE
Eloisa James' KISS ME ANNABEL
Anthology, THE LADY MOST LIKELY, with Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, and Connie Brockway

  5. I use to take all the pictures in my family or there wouldn't have been any. After I got married I did most of the picture taking. My husband had a fancy camera for vacations and such but I had an inexpensive one. I use to call myself invisible because I was never in the pictures lol. I finally handed it over to my grown children with their digital phones and cameras and honestly don't even know where my camera is now lol.

  10. I have a simple camera but most of the time anymore I use the one on my phone, since I always have it with me and it takes good pictures.

  11. I just use my camera on my Galaxy 3. It's just as good as a regular camera and takes great pics. And it's very convenient that i don't have to carry around an extra camera. Sounds like you had a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing!

  14. Hi KIm!

My husband may be the one who takes the majority of the pictures in our household but he is more likely to take pictures of just the "family" while I like to take pictures with an old camera of things that strike me as "different"! My favorite photo is of a reanactment of a gunfight of a "gunslinger" being shot and falling off the roof that I took in the 1960's while going to collage in Tucson, Arizona!

Every winter when the snow (and the temperature) are falling I just look at that picture and think of myself there with the sun shining and walking around in shorts!

  16. It looks like you had a blast! And what a giveaway too! :)

I have a 7 year old Kodak digital camera that I use. It's not the best but it still works and I can't seem to buy a new one when what I have isn't broken, LOL!

  19. I have two cameras....both Panasonics, one is a smaller point and shoot, and one is a bit bigger with a bigger zoom on it, but nothing really fancy. Someday I may upgrade to something with more options on it, but for now, I'm happy with the cameras I have.
