Last taste of holiday treats ....

While walking around Waikiki, I spotted a few more holiday treats .... above is a sand creation at the Royal Hawaiian Sheraton.

Here's a closer view of Santa's list ...

... and the menehune (mystical elves) who helped him!

I love the detail of the Hawaiian doll!

This bear outside Bear World is ready for Christmas!

This bear is ready for surfing!

This bear is ready for Gangnam style!   As we get ready to leave 2012, do you have a favorite memory from the past year?  One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash.  Comments are open through Saturday, January 5, 10 pm in Hawaii.  I'll post the winner on Sunday, January 6.

  2. A favorite memory. Its been a pretty good year. But what comes straight to mind first is my granddaughters reaction to meeting Cinderella, Rapunzel and Aurora at Disneyworld. Oh my...memories that I will never forget. Hope your year has been as good, Kim!!

  7. I have two favorites. One is the 4 1/2 months that I got to ride/travel with my husband; I really enjoyed spending so much time together (up close and personal!). The other is all of the beautiful items my daughter quilted/made for me; it's wonderful receiving the bounty from her learning a new craft.
