Aloha to San Diego - Coronado Ferry

We took the ferry to Coronado ....

.... where we found plumeria ...

.... and the Aloha Spirit!

Coronado loves its military veterans ...

... and vintage cars!

We spotted several Victorial Houses with patriotic banners ...

... and green initiatives!

We lunched at the "Del" ....

... known for its Victorian architecture.

We looked around McP's Irish pub ...

... owned by a retired Navy SEAL.

We enjoyed "moolicious" ice cream ....

... and considered this advice.  What's your favorite fruit?  One randomly selected commenter from this week's blog posts wins a book choice from my convention stash. Comments are open through Saturday, August 20. I'll post the winner on Sunday, August 21, at SOS Aloha.

I love a lot of different fruits. Ice cold watermelon on a hot day might just top the list.

  10. The place itself looks great with good pub area, and a much larger upstairs beer hall. Nice decor at the event space with brick walls, wooden bench seating, and chalkboard beer lists showing off the day's selections.
