It sounds like your having a wonderful time...Kim -

It sounds like your having a wonderful time!

The one thing that really caught my eye in the photos was The Painted Church and it's serene simplicity and beauty and in particular the painted ceiling! Did you learn any information on the design of the ceiling and the painting? Was it done by one person or the village artisans as a cooperative effort? For the paint were native plants used for the colors? I'm also curious as to the year(s) it was constructed and the ceiling painted. Inquiring minds would love some additional information.Jeanne Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05111451097520221555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2239675967200064225.post-43122455751837020892012-03-15T06:13:43.886-07:002012-03-15T06:13:43.886-07:00always a nice pic ;)always a nice pic ;)Eli Yantihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06207823134263812836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2239675967200064225.post-72657157810453581512012-03-15T06:07:13.556-07:002012-03-15T06:07:13.556-07:00Well, those were fascinating pictures and facts. ...Well, those were fascinating pictures and facts.
